Google Expands AI Mode in Malaysia — Now Supports Bahasa Malaysia for AI-Powered Search

Google has begun rolling out its new AI Mode feature to users in Malaysia, marking a major shift in how people interact with the company’s search engine. The update also brings full support for Bahasa Malaysia, allowing users to engage with Google Search using natural, conversational language.

With the new AI Mode integrated directly into the Google Search interface, users will now notice an AI Mode button in the search box. Once activated, instead of showing the traditional list of clickable links, Google generates AI-powered answers that summarize information instantly. This makes it easier for users to get the details they need without visiting multiple websites, while still displaying related links on the side for those who want to explore further.

From our early testing, AI Mode performs smoothly and provides relevant responses in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Google says the AI Mode rollout is happening gradually, so it may take a little time before it becomes available to all users across Malaysia.
