ChatGPT Go Now Available in Malaysia for RM38.99 per Month

OpenAI has officially expanded the availability of ChatGPT Go to Malaysia, allowing local users to subscribe and access additional ChatGPT features at a lower monthly price tier. In Malaysia, ChatGPT Go is priced at RM38.99 per month.

ChatGPT Go provides access to GPT-5, along with enhanced memory, longer context length compared to free users, reasoning capabilities, support for ChatGPT Projects, access to custom GPTs created by other users, and the ability to handle longer message threads.

While ChatGPT Go offers broader functionality than the free version, it remains more limited compared to ChatGPT Plus. Features like Sora (AI video generation) and Codex (for coding tasks) are still reserved for Plus subscribers.

Interested users can subscribe to ChatGPT Go via the official website or the mobile app starting today for RM38.99 per month. However, it’s worth noting that the local pricing is slightly higher than its US price of $4 — roughly RM17 based on current exchange rates.
