Following the government’s announcement earlier this week, a dedicated portal has gone live to help Malaysians check if they qualify for the Budi Madani RON95 fuel subsidy program. Under this initiative, eligible citizens can purchase RON95 petrol at a subsidised rate of RM1.99 per litre.

The process is straightforward — simply visit the official Budi Madani RON95 page, enter your MyKad number, and the system will instantly display your eligibility status.

If you qualify, you can verify your identity using MyKad at the petrol station and immediately enjoy the subsidised price. Payments can also be made through Touch ‘n Go eWallet, Setel (Petronas), or CaltexGo (Caltex) for added convenience.

The Budi Madani RON95 subsidy programme is part of the government’s effort to ensure fuel subsidies are channelled directly to the intended groups, keeping petrol prices affordable for eligible Malaysians while maintaining a more sustainable subsidy system.
