LEVEL UP KL 2025 Returns This October – Malaysia’s Biggest Game Dev Conference Gets Even Bigger
September 25, 2025 AF

LEVEL UP KL, Southeast Asia’s premier game developer conference, is making its grand return on 6–8 October 2025 at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre, Bangsar South. Hosted by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) under the Ministry of Digital, the three-day event promises to unite developers, studios, publishers, investors, and creators from across the globe for one of the most important gatherings in the regional gaming calendar.

This year, LEVEL UP KL isn’t just about showcasing games. It’s about turning momentum into outcomes — with curated networking, high-stakes pitching, and global deal-making opportunities that could shape the future of Southeast Asia’s gaming industry.

Last year’s edition drew over 2,500 attendees and 80 exhibitors, with industry heavyweights like Larian Studios, Double Eleven, PlayStation Studios, and EA in attendance. The event generated more than RM130 million in business opportunities, and LEVEL UP KL 2025 is set to raise the bar even higher with a packed agenda of keynotes, panels, masterclasses, and live demos.

Highlights of LEVEL UP KL 2025

  • Industry Conference: Keynotes and panel discussions on design, monetisation, storytelling, and emerging gaming trends.
  • Business Connection Programme: One-on-one meetings between developers, publishers, and investors.
