PULA Launches Unicrom Beryllium-Plated Dynamic Driver IEM

Following the success of the ANVIL114, PULA’s tribrid IEMs with bone-conduction tech, the brand is taking a more minimalist approach with its latest release, the PULA Unicrom. Instead of a multi-driver setup, the Unicrom keeps things simple with a single dynamic driver, aiming to deliver a purer, more cohesive sound.

At its core is a 10mm dynamic driver with a Beryllium-plated diaphragm. Known for its excellent rigidity and ultra-lightweight properties, beryllium allows for fast diaphragm movement, helping the Unicrom achieve a wide frequency response with low distortion. PULA says the tuning leans toward a natural, balanced presentation, with bass that has satisfying punch, a crystal-clear midrange with lifelike vocals, and airy, well-defined treble. The idea here is versatility, making it a capable all-rounder across different genres.

The name “Unicrom” carries its own bit of lore, “Uni” here stands for One, representing the single DD that delivers pure high-fidelity sound, and “Crom” refers to the silent god in Conan the Barbarian, which symbolizes strength, calm, and inner power. PULA Unicrom is all about simplicity, producing clear, balanced, natural sound with its 10mm beryllium-plated dynamic driver.

The PULA also features ultra-lightweight resin material ear shells with solid stabilized Maple wood faceplates. Each unit has its own unique texture design thanks to the Maple Wood faceplate, and the pair itself weighs just 6.6g per side. It promises a comfortable wearing experience, allowing you to easily enjoy your favourite music all day long without feeling any fatigue.

In the box, you will find a high-purity silver-plated copper cable with a swappable termination system, including both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced plugs. Standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors make cable swapping easy if you are the type who likes to fine-tune your setup. A leather carry case is also included for a touch of premium practicality.
