HoYo Fest 2025 has officially landed in Malaysia, taking place at Pavilion Bukit Jalil Exhibition Centre from 24 to 27 July. This year’s event is the first to introduce ticketed entry, with prices starting at RM22 for standard access and going up to RM80 for a Fast Pass. Despite the change, turnout on opening day remained strong, with eager fans lining up early to enter the exhibition.

Fans of Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Zenless Zone Zero will find dedicated booths for each title, decked out with themed decor and interactive elements. Tears of Themis, however, is notably absent this time around. At the booths, visitors can participate in a variety of activities to win merchandise, ranging from simple social media tasks to mini-games like tossing Jumpy Dumpty bombs to knock over plush Saurians.
A gaming experience zone is also available, where attendees can try out HoYoverse titles across multiple platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices like the ASUS ROG Phone. The area is a good opportunity for fans to get hands-on time with the games, whether they’re new to the titles or long-time players.

One of the standout features this year is the addition of Artist Alley. A first for HoYo Fest in Southeast Asia, HoYoverse is officially allowing the sale of fan-made goods at its own event. Local creators have set up booths selling a wide range of items, from keychains and stickers to prints and pins, each reflecting the artists’ personal styles.
The selection isn’t as broad as what you’d find at larger ACG conventions, but it adds a nice community-focused touch to the event. Cosplayers like Angie0_0 and Weii Weii are also present, hosting their own booths in character outfits and offering themed merchandise.

Stage activities are also running throughout the event, including interactive sessions with characters and the Imaginarium Theater Tournament. Not every activity is scheduled daily, so visitors should refer to the official event website for the most up-to-date timetable. These segments offer another way for fans to engage with the content, whether through games, performances, or community-based sessions.
Official merchandise from all the main HoYoverse titles is also available for purchase, as well as event-exclusive products like standees and blind bag keychains. Stocks are limited, and queues are as long as always, so fans are advised to plan ahead and arrive early if they’re hoping to shop.

HoYo Fest 2025 continues until 27 July, offering a few more days for fans to experience the event and pick up some limited-edition goods. Whether you’re there for the games, the merch, or just the community, it’s worth a visit before the doors close till next year.
