Aside from the Nord 2T, the more affordable OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite have also been launched in Malaysia. As a budget-friendly offering, it sports a more modest set of hardware while retaining the same design language as the higher-end Nord 2T.
Only one configuration of the Nord CE 2 Lite is offered in Malaysia for RM1,199. For that kind of money, it features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage further expandable with a microSD card slot. Two colour options are available: Blue Tide and Black Dusk.
Hardware wise, the Nord CE 2 Lite features a 6.59-inch 1080p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, a triple camera system (64MP primary + 2MP macro + 2MP depth), a 16MP selfie camera, a generous 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, as well as OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 out of the box.
Just like the Nord 2T, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will also be available in Malaysia from 19 July next week. Priced at RM1,199, it’s worth checking out if you’re shopping for a budget-friendly phone, especially if you also want the fuss-free software experience of OxygenOS.
