Previously, it was announced that both PDRM and JPJ will offer discounts on issued summonses from the two entities. Initially set to end yesterday on 12 December, the discount has now been extended to 31 December for PDRM summons. JPJ, on the other hand, is extending the discount to 15 December.
Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, it’s best to pay for the summonses online. For PDRM summons, you can get the discount through the MyBayar portal or app on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. As for JPJ summons, you can pay for the summons on the mySIKAP portal.
However, do note that only compoundable summonses from PDRM and JPJ are eligible for the 80% discount. If the summon requires you to go to a court hearing, for example, you will not get to enjoy the savings.
