Sony has officially brought the new Xperia 10 VIII to Malaysia, retaining core performance elements from its predecessor while introducing several hardware upgrades.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage via microSDXC up to 2TB, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 30W wired charging. Up front, it features a 6.1-inch OLED display equipped with Triluminos technology and an upgraded 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals.

The camera setup includes a 50MP 1/1.56-inch sensor accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide lens, while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter. True to Sony’s traditional design philosophy, the phone retains fan-favorite hardware features including a dedicated physical camera shutter button on the side, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, all protected by an IP68 dust and water-resistance rating.

Out of the box, it runs on Android 16 with up to 4 major Android version updates and 6 years of security patches.

In Malaysia, the Xperia 10 VIII is priced at RM2,999 and comes in three colorways: Frozen White, Frosted Gray, and Misty Lilac. Early bird buyers purchasing the phone before 30 November will receive a promotional bundle worth RM768, featuring a pair of WH-CH730N wireless headphones and a Style Cover with Stand.
