Honda Malaysia Launches New City Hatchback: Three Variants, Starting From RM95,900

Honda Malaysia has officially launched the New City Hatchback, arriving with refreshed styling, upgraded connectivity and a full suite of safety features across three variants priced from RM95,900.

The exterior receives a sharper front end treatment with new Connected Headlights and Bi-LED Headlights integrated across all variants. The RS variants ride on new 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels in Berlina Black and Dark Clear, while the V gets Shark Gray wheels. Four colour options are available: Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Stellar Diamond Pearl (for petrol variants only) and a new addition, Blazing Red Pearl.

Inside, the cabin gets a 3D Pattern Mid Garnish with Ambient Lighting, and a larger 10-inch Display Audio system for improved connectivity. The RS variants receive a new sport seat trim with red stitching. A wireless charger is standard on the e:HEV RS. The signature ULTRA Seats remain, offering four configurations spanning Utility, Long, Tall and Refresh modes to adapt cabin space for different needs.

On the safety front, Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Monitoring, Honda LaneWatch and Honda SENSING now come standard across all variants. The RS variants additionally gain a 360-degree Multi-View Camera System.

Two powertrain options carry over. The 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine covers the V and Petrol RS variants, while the e:HEV RS pairs a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle engine with an electric motor producing 109PS and 253Nm. The e:HEV RS is backed by Honda’s 10-Year Hybrid Battery Warranty with Unlimited Mileage. All variants carry an 8-Year Warranty with Unlimited Mileage.

Launch pricing is RM95,900 for the V, RM100,900 for the Petrol RS and RM112,900 for the e:HEV RS, all on-the-road without insurance. Customers who register any variant receive a RM4,000 cash reward. Existing Honda owners trading in through the Honda Certified Used Car programme receive an additional RM2,000 rebate, while trade-ins through CARSOME at participating dealers yield a RM1,000 rebate.
