JETOUR T2 i-DM PHEV Officially Launches in Malaysia, Priced at RM162,800

JETOUR Malaysia has officially launched the JETOUR T2 i-DM, bringing a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variant of its rugged SUV to the local market.

The JETOUR T2 i-DM pairs a 1.5L TGDi dedicated hybrid engine with a 3-speed dedicated hybrid transmission and a dual-motor electric system, pushing out a combined output of 265kW and 610Nm of torque. Powering the electric side is an 18.4 kWh LFP battery, offering over 100km of pure electric range and a combined total driving range of up to 1,200km. The battery supports 57kW DC fast charging, which takes the battery from 30% to 80% in 27 minutes, alongside 6.6kW AC wallbox charging and a 3.3kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) output for powering external gear.

In terms of design, the PHEV retains the boxy, off-road look of the standard T2. Exterior features include Auto LED headlamps with JETOUR’s signature wordlight, 20-inch Trailblazer alloy wheels, and a tailgate-mounted spare tire with an electric suction door. Inside, the cabin gets a 15.6-inch infotainment display with a dedicated hybrid interface, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, a 50W wireless charger, front ventilated memory seats, and ambient lighting.

Safety and driver assistance are handled by a Level 2 ADAS suite, including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Assist Intervention (LAI), Integrated Cruise Assist (ICA), and a panoramic view camera system.

The JETOUR T2 i-DM is priced at RM162,800. The first 2,000 registrations qualify for an Early Bird Package worth up to RM3,000, offering a choice between a free 7kW AC wallbox charger with installation or RM2,000 in ChargeSini charging credits, along with a V2L adapter cable. Ownership coverage includes a 7-year/150,000km vehicle warranty, an 8-year/160,000km battery warranty, a 10-year/1,000,000km engine warranty, and five complimentary service sessions.
