Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6 Arrives 28 September with Pearl and Razer Collaboration

HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6, titled Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise, will launch on 28 September. Following the previous chapter’s revelation that Nihilux is in fact Aha, the Aeon of Elation, the version continues the Planarcadia arc with a deep dive into Astropolis’s Life Sciences Institute.

The Institute, built under the leadership of Madam Yabuli, head of the IPC’s Technology Department, serves as the source of all imagenae in Astropolis. Yabuli is now pushing forward a dangerous plan to weaponise the husk at the cost of every life in Planarcadia. To neutralise the threat, Pearl plans to use the recovery of Leviathan Essence as cover to send Kuchiba and Ashveil on a coordinated investigation into the Institute, teaming up with the Trailblazer and Nihilux to bring the conspiracy down.

Pearl, CEO of Planarcadia, makes her playable debut in Version 4.6 as a five-star Ice character on the Path of Elation. Her kit is built around the Certified Banger resource, which she can consume to absorb a portion of incoming damage for all allies. She can also enter a Deep Learning state to learn the combat data of a designated teammate and gain a corresponding Enhanced ATK.

If that teammate is an Elation character, Pearl’s Enhanced ATK deals additional Elation damage. With a full team of Elation characters, the designated teammate gains an extra turn while receiving a large amount of Punchline and Certified Banger. Pearl’s banner runs throughout the full version alongside her limited five-star Light Cone Colors for Tomorrow. Evanescia returns in the first-half rerun, with Mortenax Blade following in the second half.

On the events side, Love, Ghosts and Robots tasks the Trailblazer with helping the resurrected Skott run a mechatron workshop, assembling and selling mechatrons to build the business toward a five-star rating.

The combat reality show event Interastral Peace Gala: One Take also kicks off this version, alongside the debut of Astral Imagea, a new gameplay mode where Trailblazers collect Astral Imageas to accompany them on their journey and team up with friends for the Astral Slammers Squad challenge. New outfits for Hyacine and Evanescia, Warm Cotton Skies and Lunar Blossoming respectively, will also go on sale this version.

On the collaboration front, Honkai: Star Rail has announced a partnership with Razer, with Silver Wolf LV.999-themed peripherals including a gaming chair, keyboard, mouse and headset releasing simultaneously across multiple regions. More details are yet to follow.

HoYoverse also officially unveiled the Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero crossover characters: Ellen and Astra Yao from ZZZ will be joining the Star Rail adventure in Version 4.8.
