Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5 Arrives 26 August with Robin Summeretto and Aventurine Waveflair

HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5, titled To Roll the Stars in Astropolis, will launch on 26 August. With the Voracity having made their official appearance and plunging Planarcadia into a new crisis following the Express Crew’s victory over Asat Pramad, the Trailblazer sets off for Astropolis, the headquarters of the Interastral Peace Corporation, to secure the power needed to aid Planarcadia. The version also brings a summer vacation storyline set in Astropolis alongside Robin and Aventurine.

Robin • Summeretto debuts in the first half as a five-star Wind character on the Path of Remembrance. Now leading the Oak Family since Sunday’s departure from Penacony.

In combat, she sings alongside her little bird band, providing buffs for the team while her teammates’ actions accumulate a resource called Vibes. Once her Skill is used and Vibes reach a set threshold, the team enters a Fever Pitch state where ally attacks generate scaling buffs, with more frequent actions producing stronger effects.

Her Ultimate immediately triggers a designated teammate’s action and regenerates their Energy while raising her own Vibes. The first half also brings a rerun of Hyacine alongside the new four-star Light Cone A Little Getaway.

The second half, beginning 12 September, introduces Aventurine • Waveflair, a five-star Quantum character on the Path of Elation. Using abilities or ally actions accumulates two resources, Punchline and Fervor.

When Fervor reaches its threshold, he immediately triggers an extra Elation Skill that hits all enemies and deals multiple instances of random single-target damage. During the next Aha Instant, the Elation Skill is further enhanced, with damage scaling based on total team actions taken. Ashveil also receives a rerun in the second half.

On the events side, Overdrive: Whirlwind Grand Prix kicks off this version, with the Trailblazer taking on the role of team principal in a racing event. Minuscule Great Adventure runs simultaneously with relaxed stage challenges.

The Divergent Universe receives a gameplay update, and the Planar Fissure and Realm of the Strange double-drop events go live alongside a new Trailblaze Fashion headwear item, Aw, Look Up Here. A quality of life addition also arrives this version: story dialogue can now be sped up, with the option to toggle on or off at any time.

On the collaboration front, Honkai: Star Rail has announced a partnership with MOONDROP, with Sparxie-themed products and events rolling out across multiple regions in the coming months. A crossover with Zenless Zone Zero has also been teased for later this year, with ZZZ characters set to join the Trailblaze on a cosmic adventure.
