JETOUR Launches T1 in Malaysia, Starts From RM129,800

JETOUR Malaysia has launched the T1, a new urban SUV (compared to the more rugged T2) available in two powertrain variants targeting everyday drivers who want a balance of style and practicality.
The T1 is built on a monocoque platform with a 2,800mm wheelbase and comes dressed in what JETOUR calls a curvy utilitarian design, featuring Storm-Eye LED headlamps with a bold front grille and sculpted body lines. Four exterior colours are available: Khaki White, Aviation Silver, Sand Gold and Carbon Black.
The entry-level T1 1.5L TGDi 2WD is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 125kW and 270Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It rides on 18-inch Diamond-style alloy wheels and features a 12.8-inch multimedia display and an eight-speaker audio system.
The T1 2.0L TGDi XWD steps up to a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit producing 180kW and 375Nm, complemented by an intelligent all-wheel drive system. This variant adds 19-inch Petal-style alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a front passenger power seat with leg rest, a larger 15.6-inch multimedia display and a nine-speaker Sony premium audio system.
Both variants share a cabin setup that includes a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster, paddle shifters, leatherette seats, a driver power seat, front ventilated seats, ambient lighting, voice assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charger, seven USB ports, auto rain-sensing wipers and a powered tailgate.
Safety kit across both variants covers six SRS airbags, a full Level 2 ADAS suite and a panoramic view monitoring system. The T1 also carries a five-star ASEAN NCAP rating with an overall score of 87.67 points.
The T1 1.5L TGDi 2WD is priced at RM129,800 and the T1 2.0L TGDi XWD at RM146,800. Both come with a seven-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, a 10-year or 1,000,000km powertrain warranty and five complimentary maintenance services.
The first 2,000 customers who register their T1 receive an early bird rebate of RM2,000, with financing rates available from 1.68%. The T1 is available now at all 43 authorised JETOUR showrooms nationwide.
