Sony Expands INZONE Gaming Lineup With New Open-Back Headset, Glass Purple Buds and Fnatic Mouse

Sony has announced three new additions to its INZONE gaming peripherals range, headlined by the INZONE H6 Air, a new open-back wired gaming headset that’s now available in Malaysia.

The H6 Air is built around an open-back acoustic structure, which Sony says minimises internal reflections to produce a more accurate and spacious sound field. The driver units share technology with the MDR-MV1 open-back studio monitor headphones, adapted specifically for gaming use, with back ducts integrated into each driver to deliver deeper, more controlled bass while maintaining clear separation between mid and low frequencies.

Despite the premium driver setup, the H6 Air comes in at just 199g without the detachable microphone and cable attached, making it Sony’s lightest gaming headset to date. The spring hinge headband design carried over from the INZONE H9 II keeps the footprint compact without sacrificing comfort during longer sessions.

Connecting the H6 Air to a PC via the included USB-C Audio Box unlocks INZONE Hub compatibility, which adds virtual 7.1 channel surround sound and 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming. Also accessible through this connection is a dedicated RPG and Adventure equaliser profile developed in collaboration with sound designers from PlayStation Studios, tuned to recreate the acoustic character of a sound studio for those genres specifically.

The adjustable cardioid boom microphone is angled toward the user’s mouth to focus on voice pickup while reducing side noise, with a flexible arm that holds its position once set.

Alongside the H6 Air, Sony is adding a Glass Purple colourway to the INZONE Buds, its truly wireless noise-cancelling gaming earbuds, bringing the colour options to three alongside the existing Black and White variants. A Fnatic Edition of the INZONE Mouse-A is also on the way, finished in Fnatic’s signature orange as part of the ongoing Sony and Fnatic collaboration.

The INZONE H6 Air and the INZONE Buds Glass Purple are both priced at RM899, with the H6 Air now available and the Buds arriving from 25 May. The Fnatic Edition INZONE Mouse-A is priced at RM749 and lands in June 2026.
