REDMI Note 15 Series Now Official: Starts at RM799

Xiaomi Malaysia has officially launched the REDMI Note 15 Series locally, expanding its popular midrange lineup with four new models: the REDMI Note 15, REDMI Note 15 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, and the range-topping REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G.

REDMI Note 15

Starting with the base model, the REDMI Note 15 features a 6.77″ FHD+ AMOLED display. Powered by a MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Round the back is the 108MP main camera and 2MP depth camera. There’s also a 6000mAh battery that supports 33W turbo charging and 18W reverse charging.

REDMI Note 15 5G

As for the REDMI Note 15 5G, it sports a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 3840Hz PWM dimming, aimed at reducing eye strain during extended use. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the Note 15 5G is equipped with a 108MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Keeping the phone going is a 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W Turbo Charging, as well as 18W reverse charging. Xiaomi has also added IP66 dust and water resistance, which is still relatively uncommon at this price point.

REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G

Stepping up to the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, the phone brings a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K CrystalRes AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Performance sees a noticeable boost with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra chipset and Mali-G615 GPU, again paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Cameras are upgraded as well, with a 200MP main sensor replacing the 108MP unit, while the 8MP ultra-wide camera remains unchanged. The battery grows to 6,580mAh and supports 45W Turbo Charging and faster 22.5W reverse charging. Durability is another highlight here, with extensive IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust resistance ratings.

REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G

At the top of the lineup sits the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G. While it shares much of the Pro model’s feature set, it ups the ante with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and a larger 6,500mAh battery. Charging is significantly faster too, with support for 100W Turbo Charging alongside 22.5W reverse charging, making it the fastest-charging phone in the series.

What’s unique about the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ is its ‘Titan Durability’ as Xiaomi calls it. The phone has been tested to survive drops of as high as 2.5 meters under the SGS Premium Performance Certification.

All three models in the REDMI Note 15 Series run on Xiaomi HyperOS 14 based on Android 15. Its P66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance has also been verified through the TÜV SÜD endurance testing.

As for pricing, the REDMI Note 15 5G starts at RM849 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. Early bird buyers will also receive a free Xiaomi Sound Pocket, worth RM69.

The REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G is priced from RM1,399 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration, with a free storage upgrade to 512GB for a limited time. Early pre-orders will also receive a complimentary REDMI Pad SE 8.7-inch with cover.

Meanwhile, the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G retails at RM1,699 for the 12GB + 256GB model, likewise bundled with a free upgrade to 512GB of storage. Early buyers will also get a REDMI Pad SE 8.7-inch with cover at no additional cost.

Lastly, the REDMI Note 15 is available as an online exclusive at RM799, featuring 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. This model is exclusively sold via mi.com and Xiaomi’s official stores on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
