Honor has officially introduced its latest smartphone featuring one of the largest batteries in the industry to date — a 10,080mAh cell. For now, the device, known as the Honor Power 2, is available exclusively in China.

Honor is using silicon-carbon (Si/C) anode battery technology to fit the oversized battery into a smartphone form factor while maintaining a thickness comparable to other devices on the market. According to the company, the battery delivers over 20 hours of continuous usage.

For charging, the Honor Power 2 supports 80W wired fast charging, and it can also double as a power bank, charging other devices at speeds of up to 27W.

In terms of specifications, the Honor Power 2 features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. For photography, the phone includes a 50MP rear camera paired with a 5MP ultra-wide lens.

At the moment, the Honor Power 2 is being offered only in China, with pricing starting at CNY 2,699 (approximately RM1,570 at current exchange rates).
