Maxim Plans to Expand into Food and Parcel Delivery Services in 2026

Maxim is one of the ride-hailing services operating in several cities across Malaysia. After focusing primarily on point-to-point transportation for some time, the company is now looking to expand its range of services in 2026.

Speaking about its plans, Maxim said it intends to roll out new offerings next year, specifically in food delivery and goods delivery. For now, the company has yet to share details on when these features will be introduced, or which areas will be covered in the initial rollout.

With this move, Maxim will be entering a highly competitive space currently dominated by Grab, Foodpanda, and ShopeeFood, alongside other players such as Misi. Maxim’s entry is expected to further heat up the market and make the sector even more competitive.
