JPJ to Enforce MyDigital ID as the Sole Login Method for MyJPJ App Starting 1 February 2026
Aman
The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has announced that MyDigital ID will become the mandatory single sign-on method for the MyJPJ mobile application beginning 1 February 2026.

This move will replace the existing password-based login system, offering stronger security and better identity protection for all users. However, users under 18 years old and MyPR cardholders will be able to log in through a special link that requires several additional verification steps.
MyDigital ID support has already been integrated into the MyJPJ app, but until now it has been optional and not fully enforced. MyJPJ currently has 13 million registered users, yet only 1.3 million are using MyDigital ID as their login method.
Beyond MyJPJ, various other government apps and digital services are expected to adopt the same MyDigital ID login requirement in the near future.
