LaLaport Pokémon Happy Holidays Kicks Off Year-End Festivities Until 4 January, 2026

LaLaport BBCC has officially launched its year-end celebration with a special Pokémon-themed event, the LaLaport Pokémon Happy Holidays, running now until 4 January 2026. The campaign invites visitors of all ages to engage in a world of Pokémon through interactive games, retail opportunities, and scheduled appearances.

Appearances and Gameplay

In the coming weeks, the event’s centerpiece will be dedicated appearances by Pikachu. Every weekend provides fans with an opportunity to meet the character during scheduled Meet-and-Greet sessions, in addition to spontaneous Walkabout appearances throughout the mall.

Pokémon enthusiasts can also participate in complimentary Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorials designed to teach new battle strategies and gameplay fundamentals. For those interested in digital action, a demo for the Nintendo Switch 2 Pokémon Legends: Z-A game is available, offering fans hands-on time with the latest title in the franchise.

The Pokémon Hunting Quest

LaLaport BBCC has structured a multi-layered campaign to encourage shopper interaction and exploration across the premises. The Pokémon Sticker Collection quest, which challenges shoppers to collect eight different Pokémon stickers each week from a distinct set of eight participating stores.

Shoppers can redeem the five-week sticker booklet for a minimum mall-wide spend of RM10. Completing the full set of 40 available stickers allows for the redemption of a limited-edition Pokémon sticker set.

Additionally, customers purchasing any official merchandise at the LaLaport Pokémon Happy Holidays booths, located at the Main Atrium on the Ground Floor, will receive a postcard to participate in an exclusive Stamp Rally. This second mini-hunt requires collecting five unique stamps at various locations throughout the mall at no additional cost.

As part of the festive season, themed retail pop-ups are offering a variety of official Pokémon collectibles and seasonal merchandise. The holiday atmosphere is further supported by a dazzling Pokémon-themed Christmas tree light show, featuring playful visual effects exclusive to LaLaport BBCC, running every evening at the WoW Plaza on the Ground Floor.

To amplify the holiday shopping experience, the mall is hosting its inaugural Black Friday Late Night Sale from 28 to 30 November. During this period, the mall will extend its operating hours, allowing visitors to shop till midnight and capitalize on flash sales and exclusive deals.

Shoppers who spend RM500 and above in any of the mall’s shops are eligible to redeem special Pokémon merchandise, including a lanyard and cardholder, a tumbler, or a travel bag set.
