Nintendo Switch Online & eShop Officially Launch in Malaysia – Subscriptions Start From RM13/Month

As announced last month, Nintendo Switch Online and the Nintendo eShop have officially launched in Malaysia today. Through the eShop, Malaysian users can now buy and download digital games, purchase DLC, and manage their Nintendo Switch Online memberships — all listed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

In Malaysia, Nintendo Switch Online is priced from RM13 per month, going up to RM89 for a yearly subscription. The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack starts at RM179 per year, while family plans are also available beginning at RM169.

With Nintendo Switch Online, players can enjoy online multiplayer along with access to over 250 classic games from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), Game Boy, and Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).

Subscribers of the Expansion Pack will also gain access to Game Boy Advance and Nintendo 64 titles on the Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, on the Nintendo Switch 2, users can additionally access Nintendo GameCube games.

Other perks include cloud saves, access to GameChat (Switch 2 only), and the Nintendo Music service for smartphones.
