Disney+ Raises Subscription Prices in Malaysia – Now Starts at RM29.90 a Month

Disney+ has officially announced a new round of price increases for its streaming service in Malaysia, effective 18 December 2025. This update follows the recent rebranding of Disney+ Hotstar to Disney+, unifying its global streaming identity.

Starting from that date, Disney+ Basic will cost RM29.90 per month, while Disney+ Premium is priced at RM49.90 per month. Users can also opt for a three-month Premium plan at RM99.90.

Annual plans remain available, with Disney+ Basic at RM214.90 per year, and Disney+ Premium at RM289.90 per year. The Premium plan allows streaming on up to three screens simultaneously with 4K resolution support.

When Disney+ Hotstar first launched in Malaysia, it was priced at RM54.90 for three months, before being raised to RM24.90 per month (or RM79.90 for three months) in April 2024. Now, just over a year later, the streaming platform has once again adjusted its pricing in line with regional market updates.
