The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is believed to have been developed at the last minute as a replacement for the Galaxy S26 Edge, which was reportedly canceled following disappointing sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge. Today, what’s claimed to be the official design of the Galaxy S26 Plus has surfaced via Android Headlines.

From the front, the device looks nearly identical to the Galaxy S25 Plus. However, changes can be seen on the back. The triple-camera setup is now housed in a bump similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold7, launched a few months ago. Despite the new layout, the camera system itself is said to remain unchanged from this year’s model.
Another notable tweak is the device’s slightly thicker build, which could indicate a larger battery capacity. Due to these last-minute design adjustments, the Galaxy S26 series may see a slight delay in its launch, potentially pushing it beyond the usual late-January release window.
