Lazada is now seen to have increased its commission charges for sellers, effective 1 November. With this increase, the fees imposed will be higher than before. This move by Lazada comes after Shopee and TikTok also raised their commission fees for sellers earlier this year.

Under the new structure, for regular sellers on Lazada, the commission fee will be up to 22.5% depending on the product category, while for Lazada Mall sellers it will be up to 21% based on category.

Lazada says this increase is in line with efforts to sustain various offerings on the platform, including improvements based on AI-powered integrations on the e-commerce platform.

All items sold starting 1 November 2025 will be subject to this new fee. Lazada will, however, exempt new sellers for 120 days as an initiative to help those who have just joined the platform.
