Apple Rebrands Apple TV+ to Simply Apple TV

Apple has officially shared that its streaming service, Apple TV+, will now be known simply as Apple TV. The company did not provide a specific reason for the rebranding, but the change appears to signal a broader repositioning of its entertainment offerings under a unified Apple TV identity.

Originally launched in 2019, Apple TV+ was introduced as Apple’s premium streaming platform featuring exclusive, original shows and films, including acclaimed titles such as Ted Lasso, Severance, and The Morning Show.
However, the new branding could lead to some confusion among users, as Apple already sells a hardware device called the Apple TV, a set-top box designed to stream media to televisions. It remains unclear how Apple plans to differentiate the streaming service from the hardware product moving forward. In Malaysia, Apple TV streaming service offered at RM29.90 per month.
