ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X Now Open for Pre-Order in Malaysia From RM2,699

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially opened pre-orders for its new ROG Xbox Ally series handhelds in Malaysia. The ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X is available to pre-order exclusively through the ASUS e-Store and it will be rolling out to authorised resellers from 6 to 15 October.

Developed in collaboration with Xbox, the ROG Xbox Ally series blends console and PC gaming into a single handheld package. The base ROG Xbox Ally is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor, focusing on efficiency, while the higher-end ROG Xbox Ally X steps up with the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor for stronger performance in AAA titles. Both models promise meaningful upgrades over the original ROG Ally, including smoother Windows 11 gameplay and better endurance.

The ROG Xbox Ally X in particular highlights serious generational gains, with ASUS claiming up to 30% higher performance in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Doom: The Dark Ages compared to its predecessor, alongside double the battery life in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

The ROG Xbox Ally also sees boosts, with up to 20% better frame rates in Forza Horizon 5 and Gears of War: Reloaded, plus over 100% more endurance than the older model. Both devices support AMD’s latest software features such as FSR, RSR, and AFMF frame generation, which can increase frame rates by up to 60%.

In addition, the ROG Xbox Ally X comes equipped with an onboard NPU for future AI-driven gaming features, ensuring the handheld is ready for when these enhancements become mainstream.

In Malaysia, the ROG Xbox Ally retails at RM2,699, while the ROG Xbox Ally X goes for RM4,299, hitting shelves nationwide from 17 October 2025. To sweeten the deal, ASUS is bundling early pre-orders with the ROG SLASH Sling Bag 4.0, a screen protector, 512GB microSD, and a two-year Perfect Warranty package that includes accidental damage protection, altogether worth RM999. Buyers can also enjoy 20% off the ROG Bulwark Dock DG300 and ROG 65W Gaming Charger Dock during the pre-order period.

Official accessories will also be available, including the ROG Bulwark Dock DG300 (RM699), ROG 100W Gaming Charger Dock (RM499), ROG SLASH Sling Bag 4.0 (RM359), ROG 65W Gaming Charger Dock (RM299), ROG Xbox Ally Premium Case (RM249), and the ASUS Jelly75 Keyboard KD201 in Orange Meadow or Vold Green (RM399).
