vivo has long been pushing the boundaries of mobile photography, and the new vivo V60 continues that trend by bringing ZEISS camera technology from its flagship X200 series into the more accessible V-series. The result is a device designed for those who want professional-level portraits and versatile photography tools without needing to carry a dedicated camera.

At the heart of the V60 is a triple camera setup that mirrors the quality of vivo’s higher-end models. It combines a 50MP ZEISS OIS main camera with a 50MP ZEISS Super Periscope telephoto lens and an 8MP ZEISS ultra-wide camera. Among these, the 50MP Super Periscope stands out. It uses a 1/1.953″ sensor with an f/2.65 aperture, making it one of the most light-sensitive sensors in its class.
vivo has also reimagined the periscope design, folding the traditional L-shaped light path into an M-shaped one. This reduces lens protrusion while keeping performance intact, a clever engineering touch that makes the phone sleeker without compromising zoom capability.

Portrait photography takes center stage with the ZEISS Multifocal Portrait system, which simulates the effect of professional interchangeable lenses. Users can capture portraits at multiple focal lengths, each designed to replicate the look and bokeh of classic ZEISS glass.
The 23mm wide angle emulates the Distagon, perfect for travel shots and environmental portraits. Street photographers may gravitate toward the 35mm, modeled after the B-Speed lens, while the 50mm Biotar delivers a classic portrait aesthetic. For tighter framing, the 85mm Sonnar offers a cinematic teal-and-orange tone that shines in half-body portraits under sunlight or at golden hour. Finally, the 100mm Planar-inspired mode creates a desaturated, cooler look, well-suited for natural light closeups.

Beyond portraits, the V60 pushes its telephoto capabilities with AI Super Telephoto Enhancement, ensuring crisp results from 10x up to 100x zoom. Whether capturing distant skylines or zooming in on flowers and greenery, the camera remains steady and detailed.

Keeping up with today’s love for retro aesthetics, the Film Camera mode introduces three distinct film-style filters: Classic Negative, Positive Film, and Clear Blue. These presets are available across Photo, Portrait, and Pro modes, offering users the ability to instantly infuse their shots with vintage character.

The creative possibilities extend past shooting thanks to the AI Image Studio. This suite of tools allows users to refine and reimagine their photos effortlessly. AI Four Season Portrait adds virtual elements to replicate Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter, bringing variety to portraits in tropical Malaysia.

Disclaimer: AI Four-Seasons Portrait will be available from October 2025 onwards.
AI Erase 3.0 removes unwanted background distractions or reflections, while AI Magic Move lets you reposition subjects for better composition. AI Image Expander widens the frame to adjust aspect ratios or simulate a wider focal length, and AI Photo Enhancer intelligently restores detail to low-resolution images.

The vivo V60 is more than just a photography powerhouse. With its 6500mAh battery and 90W fast charging, it is built to last a full day of shooting and beyond. The IP68 and IP69 water resistance ratings also mean you can keep taking photos in the rain or even underwater, up to 1.5 meters deep for as long as 120 minutes. When you’re done, the One Tap Water Ejection feature ensures the speakers are cleared of any trapped droplets.

The vivo V60 is available in three variants: an online-exclusive 8GB + 256GB model priced at RM1,899, a 12GB + 256GB option at RM1,999, and a 12GB + 512GB variant at RM2,399. The latter model is currently offered at an early bird price of RM2,299. The phone comes in Summer Blue, Mist Gray and a stunning Berry Purple colorway.
