Flux Launches HELIOS Smart Pendant Light in Malaysia, Designed to Save Your Eyes from Screen Fatigue

Malaysian lighting startup, Flux has unveiled the HELIOS Pendant Light, a smart, eye-friendly lighting solution aimed at screen-heavy professionals, remote creatives, and gamers. Co-developed with Richard’s Prestige Lighting & Design, one of Asia Pacific’s leading decorative lighting manufacturers, the HELIOS is designed to combat digital eye strain and modern lighting fatigue.

At the heart of HELIOS is its TÜV RG0 eye-safety certification—the highest global safety standard for photobiological lighting. It delivers 1600 lux brightness, RA>95 colour rendering, and flicker-free, low-blue-light diffusion, all while mimicking the body’s natural circadian rhythm with four ambient modes: Polynesia Sky, Hungary Blue Hour, Vanuatu Beach, and Sabah Sunset.
With a 1.2-meter light coverage and a sleek design, HELIOS is not only easy on the eyes, but on the workspace, too. Features include gesture control, remote access, and compatibility with standard wall switches. And with a 50,000-hour lifespan and 1-year warranty, it’s built for the long haul.
The idea came from a late-night worker who experienced chronic eye strain under harsh artificial lighting. According to studies, 68% of screen users suffer from digital eye fatigue, while 43% of remote workers report worsening vision since the rise of WFH setups. HELIOS aims to address that with a smarter approach to indoor lighting.
The HELIOS Pendant Light is now available for pre-order until August 31, 2025 at fluxtech.my.
