Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.1 Drops 16 July With New Regions, Yuzuha and Alice

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.1, titled “The Impending Crash of Waves,” arrives on 16 July. This summer-themed update introduces Season 2 Chapter 2, highlighting the Spook Shack faction and expanding the game’s world with two new regions: Sailume Bay and Fantasy Resort. Proxies will also gain two new playable characters: Yuzuha and Alice.

In Version 2.1, players can explore Sailume Bay and Fantasy Resort. Nestled beneath the cliffs of Failume Heights, Sailume Bay becomes the central stage for Chapter 2’s unfolding story. Porcelumex will lead a thorough safety investigation here to address the conflicts and chaos caused by the Exaltists, deepening the narrative while offering new challenges to overcome.

Two new allies from the Spook Shack will be joining the roster. Ukinami Yuzuha is an S-Rank Physical Support Agent who fights alongside her tanuki companion, Kama, deploying candy bombs to weaken enemies and help on-field attackers accumulate Anomaly Buildup more effectively. Her signature ability, Sweet Scare, adapts to the active agent’s attribute through Flavor Match, significantly enhancing Anomaly Buildup efficiency and triggering Aftershock attacks for powerful follow-up damage.

The second addition, Alice Thymefield, is an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent. As a noble heiress, Alice uses precise swordsmanship to navigate the battlefield while building up Blade Etiquette. By consuming Blade Etiquette, she can unleash devastating strikes that amplify Assault and Disorder damage. Additionally, Miss Esme, a new S-Rank Bangboo companion, joins agents in battle, providing helpful effects that restore Energy or HP, making her a valuable support option.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.1, “The Impending Crash of Waves,” launches on 16 July. Players can also look forward to rerun banners for Miyabi and Yanagi during this update.
