Acer has just expanded its gaming laptop lineup with two new additions to the Predator series — the Predator Triton 14 AI and the Predator Helios Neo 14 AI — both unveiled during the ongoing COMPUTEX 2025. Both laptops are designed for users who demand high-performance hardware, particularly for gaming and CPU-intensive applications.

Predator Triton 14 AI

The Predator Triton 14 AI is the more premium option of the two. It’s powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 288V, paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics, delivering a smooth and immersive gaming experience. On the memory side, it supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

The laptop features a 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a fast 1ms GTG response time — making it ideal for both gaming and creative work. The screen also supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and is Calman Verified for accurate color reproduction. Keeping thermals in check is a 76Wh battery paired with Acer’s 6th Gen AeroBlade metal fans, ensuring strong cooling performance without excessive heat buildup.

Predator Helios Neo 14 AI

On the other hand, the Predator Helios Neo 14 AI is positioned as a more accessible option with several configuration choices. Users can pick between an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 285H or Core Ultra 7 Processor 255H, alongside either an RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 GPU. Memory and storage options are also generous, with support for up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

As for the display, there are two screen options: a 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED panel (16:10, 120Hz) or a WQXGA IPS display (2560×1600, 165Hz) — giving users the flexibility to prioritize color quality or faster refresh rates, depending on their needs.

Both laptops will be available starting July 2025. The Predator Triton 14 AI is priced from €2,999 (~RM14,446), while the Helios Neo 14 AI starts at €1,699 (~RM8,184).
