In conjunction with its 2nd Anniversary, Honkai: Star Rail LIVE 2025—a concert celebrating the iconic soundtrack of Honkai: Star Rail—was held in Shanghai from May 1 to May 3, 2025, with a global simultaneous livestream on May 3.

But what truly surprised Trailblazers was a teaser that played at the end of the concert: a preview of the Honkai: Star Rail x Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration, first announced during gamescom Opening Night Live 2024.

The crossover event, titled “Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail,” will officially launch on 11 July, featuring Archer and Saber as playable characters.

Saber will be a 5-Star Destruction: Wind unit obtainable through the Event Warp. As part of the “Holy Grail War,” she will interact with the Astral Express Crew in ways that are sure to thrill fans. Meanwhile, Trailblazers can get Archer, a 5-Star The Hunt: Quantum unit, for free when the event begins.

The original concept designs for both characters in Honkai: Star Rail were created by Mr. Takashi Takeuchi, the original artist behind the Fate visual novels. The crossover story itself is also supervised by Mr. Kinoko Nasu, the writer of the Fate series.

Lastly, Trailblazers were treated to a sneak peek of what appears to be a new Honkai title currently in development. The teaser hinted at a Pokémon-style game where players battle using pet-like creatures.
