Samsung Malaysia has officially launched its much-anticipated smart ring for the local market — the Galaxy Ring, now available for RM2099. With this launch, Samsung is making its foray into the smart ring segment, offering users a sleek, minimal alternative to the more commonly worn smartwatch.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring comes in a range of sizes from 5 to 14, tailored to fit various finger sizes. Despite its compact form factor, the ring is equipped with sensors that allow it to track key health and fitness metrics, making it a convenient tool for wellness monitoring throughout the day — and night.
Among the key features of the Galaxy Ring is its ability to monitor sleep patterns, heart rate, steps taken, and other fitness-related activities. It connects seamlessly to Samsung Health, which serves as the primary interface for viewing and managing all collected health data.
One of the main advantages of the Galaxy Ring over a smartwatch is its unobtrusive nature, especially when worn during sleep. For users who find smartwatches bulky or uncomfortable to wear overnight, the Galaxy Ring presents a more discreet and comfortable alternative while still offering meaningful health insights.

In Malaysia, the Galaxy Ring is priced at RM2099 and will be available in limited quantities. Initially, it will be offered exclusively to users of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series. In order to purchase the ring, eligible users must redeem a code through the Samsung Members app and then visit a Samsung Experience Store to confirm their finger size and proceed with the purchase.
Once the order is placed, the ring is expected to take up to six weeks to arrive. This limited and somewhat exclusive approach is likely designed to create a premium experience for early adopters and loyal Galaxy users.
