Grab has officially announced the acquisition of Everrise, a supermarket chain primarily operating in Sabah and Sarawak. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

This move comes two years after Grab’s acquisition of Jaya Grocer, further expanding its presence in the grocery retail market. Founded in 1993, Everrise operates 19 outlets with a focus on premium grocery products.

With this acquisition, Grab is expected to strengthen its grocery offerings, particularly in East Malaysia, enhancing its ecosystem for on-demand retail and delivery services.
