Instagram Is Testing a ‘Dislike’ Button for Comments on Reels and Feed

Instagram has started testing a “dislike” button for comments, allowing users to downvote replies on both Reels and Feed discussions.

This feature lets users flag comments they dislike, with the feedback influencing comment rankings—pushing less relevant or negative comments further down.

Instagram aims to foster a healthier community by reducing visibility of unwanted interactions. The test is currently limited to a small group of users, but if successful, it could roll out to more users worldwide.
