JPJ has rolled out a new update for the MyJPJ app, allowing drivers with a Probationary Driving License (PDL or ‘Lesen P’) to upgrade to a Competent Driving License (CDL or ‘Lesen Penuh’) entirely online.

With this update, drivers no longer need to visit JPJ offices for the upgrade process. Instead, they can do it anytime, anywhere via the MyJPJ app.

To upgrade, simply open MyJPJ, select “Permohonan CDL”, choose the license validity period, make the payment, and renew it instantly. This move is also expected to help reduce congestion at JPJ counters nationwide. The new feature is available now—just update your MyJPJ app on Android or iOS to start using it!
