Apple has officially introduced the Powerbeats Pro 2, designed for athletes and fitness enthusiasts to stay connected and enjoy audio while training.

The new wireless earbuds come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency Mode, and Spatial Audio, powered by the Apple H2 chip. A standout feature is the built-in heart rate sensor, allowing users to track their pulse before, during, and after workouts. Apple claims its optical LED sensor pulse light over 100 times per second to monitor blood flow accurately.

In terms of design, the Powerbeats Pro 2 is now 20% lighter and offers a more comfortable fit. Each earbud delivers up to 10 hours of playback, with Fast Fuel charging providing 90 minutes of use from just a 5-minute charge. It also supports wireless charging and is rated IPX4 for water and sweat resistance.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 is now available via the Apple Store for RM1,049.
