ASUS today has officially launched the ROG Phone 9 FE in Thailand, offering a more affordable alternative to the standard ROG Phone 9. Unlike the flagship model, which uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite, this version powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Asus ROG Phone 9 FE features a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 185Hz refresh rate (adjustable via Game Genie) and HDR10+ support. It comes with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5500mAh battery that supports 65W wired charging.
For cameras, the rear setup includes a 50MP wide-angle lens with gimbal stabilization, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro lens, while the front selfie camera is 13MP. Gaming features like AirTrigger shoulder buttons and the AniMe Mini-LED display on the back are still present. The device is also IP68-rated for water and dust resistance.
The ROG Phone 9 FE is priced at THB 29,990 (~RM3,940) in Thailand, making it slightly cheaper than the ROG Phone 9 (12+256GB) in Malaysia, which retails at RM3,999.
