Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Is the S25 Slim – Thin Phone With Dual Camera System

It looks like Samsung is bringing back the “Edge” moniker – first used for the Galaxy Note Edge back in 2014 – for its smartphone. At this morning’s Galaxy Unpacked event, the Korean company unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which is the much-rumoured S25 Slim. Looking at the overall design of the phone, it does look pretty darn thin.

Unfortunately, beyond showing off samples of the Galaxy S25 Edge at the event, Samsung did not share any specifications of the slim device. In fact, it seems that no one was allowed to physically inspect the phone; no official images of the S25 Edge have been released either, which is certainly curious.

Nonetheless, we can see that the Galaxy S25 Edge has a simpler dual camera system compared to other S25 devices. It’s also rumoured to measure only 6.4mm thin, which is quite a bit thinner than even the base Galaxy S25 with a 7.2mm chassis.

It remains to be seen exactly when the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be released. If rumours are to be believed, the slim phone will only be launched in selected markets, including Malaysia. Rest assured, we will keep a close eye on the availability of the S25 Edge.
