Remember the Casio CRW-001-1JR? First unveiled back in November last year, the “ring watch,” as the Japanese company calls it, will actually be sold in Malaysia later this week on 15 January. First spotted by Amanz, the tiny retro-style digital watch is priced at RM679 for our market.
The Casio ring watch is released to commemorate the company’s 50th anniversary. Of course, the ring has all the functionalities of a typical digital watch, including an LCD screen that can display hours, minutes, and seconds; a stopwatch; a light for the screen; and even an alarm function that will flash the display.

In terms of battery life, the built-in battery of the ring watch offers up to two years of use before it needs replacing. Casio says that the battery is easily replaceable as well, and it’s worth noting that the ring watch is also waterproof.
To recap, the Casio CRW-001-1JR will go on sale in Malaysia this Wednesday on 15 January for RM679. It can be purchased at selected Casio stores around the Klang Valley area, including Sunway Pyramid, Lalaport Bukit Bintang, and IOI City Mall.
