January 13, 2025 Andrew Cheng

Predator League 2025, which takes place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has concluded! The winners of the Dota 2 and Valorant tournament are Myth Avenue Gaming (from Malaysia!) and Alter Ego respectively, and both teams take home the biggest share of the $200,000 combined prize pool.

The prize pool is shared between the Valorant and Dota 2 tournaments for Predator League 2025; MAG and Alter Ego walk away with $65,000 (about RM292,955) in winnings each. MAG bested Indonesia’s Team Helios to claim the Dota 2 throne, while Alter Ego from Indonesia was victorious against Filipino team ZOL Esports in Valorant.

Of course, Team Helios and ZOL Esports still won a respectable amount of money by coming in second; each team receive $20,000 (around RM90,140) in winnings. Teams that placed third and fourth in the Valorant and Dota 2 tournament, on the other hand, win $7,500 (approximately RM33,800) in prize money. These include Malaysia’s Xipto Esport and Crest Gaming Zst from Japan for Valorant, and Team ivory (Philippines) and 123 Gaming (Mongolia) for Dota 2.

At the closing ceremony of Predator League 2025, Acer announced that the next (and seventh) instalment of the tournament will take place in India. It remains to be seen what games will be chosen for Predator League 2026, though there’s a good chance Valorant and Dota 2 will be retained.
