Xiaomi is kicking off 2025 with the launch of the Redmi Note 14 series in Malaysia. There are a total of four different phones in the lineup, which include the base Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, and the highest-end offering, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G.

Redmi Note 14

Priced at only RM699 for the sole 8GB + 256GB model, the Redmi Note 14 is certainly a budget-friendly offering. For that kind of money, it features a MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra chipset, a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (108MP main + 2MP depth + 2MP macro), a 20MP selfie camera, and a 5,500mAh battery with 33W charging.

Next, we have the 5G version of the Redmi Note 14. It’s not just 5G connectivity that differentiates this phone from the base model, as it has a number of hardware upgrades. These include a MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra chip, a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera array (108MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 20MP selfie shooter, a 5,110mAh battery with 45W charging, and an IP64 rating.

For the Malaysian market, two different variants of the Redmi Note 14 5G are offered. There’s the 6GB + 128GB model for RM799 – it’s discounted to RM749 until 24 January – as well as the 8GB + 256GB variant that goes for RM899.

Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G

Moving on, there’s the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, which adds IP68 dust and water resistance. Naturally, it has higher-end hardware compared to the previous models too, including a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chip, a 6.67-inch 2712 x 1220 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera setup (200MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 20MP selfie camera, and a 5,110mAh battery with 45W charging.

Two different variants of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G are available in Malaysia. The 8GB + 256GB model retails at RM1,199 – with RM1,099 early bird price until 24 January – while the 12GB + 256GB version costs RM1,299.

Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G

Last but not least is the highest-end offering in the series, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G. It is the only device in the lineup to be powered by a Qualcomm chip; more specifically, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Aside from that, it also features a 6.67-inch 2712 x 1220 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (200MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 20MP selfie shooter, and a 5,110mAh battery with fast 120W charging.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is offered in two variants for the Malaysian market. The 12GB + 256GB variant goes for RM1,699, while the 12GB + 512GB configuration retails at RM1,899.
