The 2025 Honda Civic facelift has just been launched in Malaysia. As a facelift model, there are no drastic changes, though the popular C-segment sedan does get some neat new features. These include built-in Google services – such as Google Assistant and Google Maps – a new, sharper look, and even improved Honda Sensing ADAS.
First, prices. Four different variants of the Civic facelift are offered in Malaysia. The base 1.5L E model now costs RM133,900 (up from RM131,900), while the mid-tier 1.5L V trim continues to be priced at RM144,900. As for the range-topping petrol model, the 1.5L RS, it’s actually more affordable now at RM149,900 (down from RM151,900), while the highest-end e:HEV RS hybrid variant carries the same RM167,900 price tag.
One of the most noticeable changes to the facelifted Civic is the updated exterior. Not only does the C-segment sedan get a new front face, the e:HEV RS model even comes with updated 18-inch allow wheels in Matte Grey, which look rather striking. Its grille is also sporting a honeycomb design now, and the front grille extension and lower grille garnishes are finished in body colour.
As mentioned, the infotainment system of the new Civic has built-in Google services now. This allows users to use Google Assistant to control various functions of the sedan, including the air-conditioning. Of course, Google Maps is built-in as well, and more apps can even be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
Another big update to the Civic facelift is improved Honda Sensing. According to Honda Malaysia, the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) of the ADAS can now detect motorcycles and bicycles, and the overall driving behaviour of Honda Sensing has been improved too, promising smoother, more natural acceleration and braking.
Under the hood, the e:HEV RS Civic facelift soldiers on with the 2.0L e:HEV powertrain that has a maximum power output of 184PS and 315Nm of torque. The petrol models, on the other hand, continue to be powered by a 1.5L VTEC turbocharged engine that delivers 182PS and 240Nm of torque.
The 2025 Honda Civic facelift is offered in five colours, including the new Canyon River Blue Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Ignite Red Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, and Platinum White Pearl. If you’re interested to place a booking for the facelifted Civic, you can do so online here. Alternatively, bookings can be done through the HondaTouch app as well – you can download it from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
