Oppo Reno 13 Series Lands in Malaysia – Sleek IP69-Rated Phones From RM1,399

The Oppo Reno 13 series has just been launched in Malaysia, and one of the main highlights of the three devices in the lineup is the IP69 rating. This water resistance allows the Reno 13, Reno 13 Pro, and Reno 13F to do underwater photography without a case – Oppo says this is a first in the class.

Let’s talk about local prices of the Reno 13 series. The most affordable device is certainly the Reno 13F, which is priced at RM1,399 (8GB + 256GB), RM1,499 (12GB + 256GB), and RM1,799 (12GB + 512GB). A tier up is the Reno 13 for RM2,299 (12GB + 256GB) and RM2,599 (12GB + 512GB), followed by the range-topping Reno 13 Pro in the sole RM2,999 variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Naturally, the Reno 13 Pro is the most well-equipped smartphone of the lot. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip, a 6.83-inch 2800 x 1272 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (50MP main + 50MP telephoto + 8MP ultra-wide), a 50MP selfie camera, and a 5,800mAh battery with 80W charging.

And then we have the Reno 13, which comes with the same Dimensity 8350 chip as the Pro model. Aside from that, it has a smaller 6.59-inch 2760 x 1256 AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, a simpler triple camera setup (50MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP monochrome), a 50MP selfie shooter, and a 5,600mAh battery with 80W charging.

Last but not least is the Reno 13F. Unlike its higher-end siblings, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip instead. It also comes with a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 32MP selfie camera, and a 5,800mAh battery with 45W charging.

The Oppo Reno 13, Reno 13 Pro, and Reno 13F are still available for pre-order in Malaysia until 10 January with up to RM2,266 worth of freebies offered. Naturally, the Reno 13 Pro gets the best freebies, which include a RM200 rebate and the Oppo Enco Air 4 wireless earbuds with a RM50 deposit. As for the Reno 13 and Reno 13F, every pre-order of either phones (with a RM20 deposit) get a RM100 or RM200 rebate respectively, along with the Oppo Enco Buds 2 wireless earbuds.
