Stream Apple TV+ for Free This Weekend (3-5 January 2025)
December 31, 2024 Andrew Cheng

Surprise: the Apple TV+ streaming service will be free for everyone to access this weekend from 3 to 5 January all around the world. Yes, Malaysia is included, and this was revealed in an official press release from the Cupertino company.

This is quite a noteworthy move from Apple; it’s the first time Apple TV+ is fully accessible to everyone for free. Of course, you do need an Apple ID to gain access to the streaming service, and there are plenty of highly acclaimed series to binge. These include Ted Lasso, Shrinking, and of course, Severance, which is getting a second season on 17 January 2025.

If you want to sign up for Apple TV+ after the free access this weekend, it costs RM29.90/month. Alternatively, you can opt for an Apple One subscription, which includes access to Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and additional iCloud storage. Apple One starts at RM34.90/month for the Individual plan.

To recap, Apple TV+ will be free to stream this weekend from 3 to 5 January 2025. As mentioned, you will need an Apple ID to access the streaming service. Personally, we highly recommend watching Ted Lasso and Shrinking on Apple TV+; we thoroughly enjoyed watching these two series.
