Apple just announced winners of the annual App Store Awards, and snatching the iPhone Game of the Year 2024 award is Farlight Games’ AFK Journey. The mobile game beats out both Zenless Zone Zero and WereCleaner for the award, delivering “action-packed, tactical adventures and rich storylines to players on iPhone,” as Apple puts it.

Of course, there are also other Game of the Year winners for different platforms, including iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, and Apple Arcade. The winners include Squad Busters (iPad), Thank Goodness You’re Here (Mac), Balatro+ (Apple Arcade), and TRASHER: Arcade Odyssey (Vision Pro).

All the winners of the 2024 App Store Awards – which were chosen by App Store Editors – can be found on Apple’s official website. Some notable winners include Kino (iPhone App of the Year), Adobe Lightroom (Mac App of the Year), and Lumy (Apple Watch App of the Year).
