The Version 1.4 update of Zenless Zone Zero arrives next week on 18 December, and there are plenty of things coming to the live service game. Not only will players receive S-Rank Agent Asaba Harumasa for free once the update is live, there are also a slew of quality of life changes.

That’s right, Harumasa (Electric Attack) will be given for free to players who have reached Inter-Knot Level 8. Aside from him, the highly anticipated Hoshimi Miyabi (S-Rank Frost Anomaly) will be added in Zenless Zone Zero 1.4 too, and her banner will be offered alongside Harumasa’s at the same time throughout Version 1.4 from 18 December 2024 to 21 January 2025. Interesting, isn’t it?

Aside from that, the Main Story of Zenless Zone Zero will also be continued in the Version 1.4 update, and it seems like Hoyoverse is completely removing the TV mode gameplay. Instead, it will be replaced with combat and exploration; great news for players who are not fans of the TV mode.

Other changes coming to Zenless Zone Zero 1.4 include a new Quality Time Mode that lets players stroll through New Eridu with their Agents – contracted Agents will be playable in the city too – Decibels will no longer be shared across the squad, and Shiyu Defense will also get a Quick Sweep feature.

Zenless Zone Zero 1.4 will arrive next week on 18 December. To recap, both Hoshimi Miyabi’s and Asaba Harumasa’s banners will be available at the same time throughout Version 1.4, and each of them have different accompanying A-Rank agents. Miyabi will be paired with Soukaku and Piper, while Harumasa is accompanied by Lucy and Seth.
