Proton’s November 2024 sales figures are in, and three of its models lead their respective segments. These include the Proton X50, the Proton S70, as well as the premium Proton X90. In November 2024 itself, the national carmaker recorded 12,194 sales, which include both domestic and export sales.
Of that figure, as many as 1,065 units of the X70 were sold last month, putting it at the top of the C-segment SUV market “priced below RM130,000,” as Proton puts it. Not surprisingly, the X50, S70, and X90 continue to be segment-leaders with 1,911, 1,312, and 277 units sold in November 2024.

The Proton model that continues to be the national carmaker’s best-selling car is naturally the Proton Saga; as many as 5,916 units were sold last month. This brings the total 2024 sales of the Saga to 66,094, and Proton is confident the A-segment sedan will breach the 70,000 total sales mark for the second year in a row.
“As we enter the final month of 2024, everyone at Proton is gearing up to drive year-end sales numbers. Our commitment to delivering quality vehicles is evident in the continued success of models such as the Proton X70, Proton X90, and Proton Saga, which have all achieved significant milestones this year,” said the CEO of Proton Edar, Roslan Abdullah.

“With the much-anticipated Proton e.MAS 7 launch to come on 16 December along with commendable export growth and a focus on innovation, we are confident that Proton will continue to lead the way in the automotive industry, both domestically and internationally,” he added.
