Naturally, Proton got some intriguing cars on display at KLIMS 2024. These include the Proton X50 Sport Edition, the S70 R3 that entered the S1K race – there’s even an S70 Concept on show – as well as the Proton e.MAS 7 with a new “Nadi” chrome wrap.
Let’s start with the Proton X50 Sport Edition. Based on the RM101,800 Premium variant of the B-segment SUV, it will go on sale sometime next year. As its name suggests, the Sport Edition comes with a number of unique design elements, including blacked-out 18-inch alloy wheels, a bodykit, and of course, a Sport Edition emblem.

As for the S70 R3, the car on display is the very same one that was driven by Ariff Azmi and Alister Yoong at the Sepang 1000km Endurance Race (S1K). Interestingly, Proton is showing off an S70 Concept car at its booth too, though we were told there are no plans to sell this particular model.
Last but not least is the e.MAS 7 with a new wrap; this should be the final wrap before the EV is finally launched sometime this month. It’s worth noting that those who book the electric SUV at KLIMS 2024 will enjoy the RM1,500 early bird package and a limited edition Proton Saga Hot Wheels.

You can check out these cars at Proton’s booth throughout KLIMS 2024, which is happening right now until 11 December 2024 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.
