The Oppo Pad 3 was launched in China recently, and it seems like the more affordable alternative to the Pad 3 Pro will be coming to Malaysia soon. The new tablet has been registered with SIRIM just yesterday on 26 November, so there’s a good chance it will be officially sold here in the near future.
One of the headline features of the Pad 3 is the chipset powering the tablet, the new MediaTek Dimensity 8350. Built on a 4nm process, it is an octa-core processor with 3.35GHz Cortex-A715 prime cores. While it’s not quite as powerful as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip found in the Pad 3 Pro, the Dimensity 8350 should still be able to provide a good level of performance.
Other specifications of the Pad 3 include a 11.61-inch 2800 x 2000 LCD display with 144Hz refresh rate, up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, another 8MP camera on the front, and a 9,520mAh battery with 67W charging. It also measures 6.29mm thin with a 533g chassis.
Now that the Oppo Pad 3 has been registered with SIRIM, we reckon it’s only a matter of time before the tablet is officially sold on our shores. As for pricing, the Pad 3 starts at 2,099 Chinese yuan in China, which comes up to about RM1,285.
