Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 Arrives 4 December With Sunday, Fugue, Free 5-Star Character
November 25, 2024 Andrew Cheng

Honkai: Star Rail‘s upcoming Version 2.7 update looks to be quite exciting. Not only will Sunday and Fugue be playable once the update drops next week on 4 December, all players can even claim a regular 5-star character for free. Oh, Hoyoverse is also teasing a slew of new characters that are coming in the future Amphoreus realm just after the Version 2.7 update.

First, let’s talk about Sunday and Fugue. Naturally, both of them are 5-star characters that look to be support-oriented. Sunday is an Imaginary Harmony unit, while Fugue is a Fire Nihility character. Sunday and Jing Yuan will be featured in the first phase of Version 2.7’s Event Warp, while Fugue’s and Firefly’s banners will be available in the second half.

What about the free character in Version 2.7 of Star Rail? Well, the “Gift of the Express” lets players claim a regular 5-star character of their choice, which include Bronya, Himeko, Welt, Clara, Bailu, Gepard, and Yanqing. Players have until the end of Version 3.2 to claim any of these characters.

As for Amphoreus, which is touted as The Eternal Land, is the next realm that players will reach in the Version 3.0 of Star Rail. Ahead of the realm’s release, Hoyoverse is showing off a bunch of new characters that will be making their respective debuts once the region is available, and it will also introduce the Path of Remembrance. So far, Hoyoverse has confirmed three new characters for Version 3.0: Aglaea, The Herta – yes, Herta herself will be playable – and of course, the Remembrance Trailblazer.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7 will go live next week on 4 December. To recap, Sunday’s Event Warp will be available first alongside Jing Yuan’s rerun, while Fugue’s and Firefly’s banners will be offered in the second phase.
